Programs

 

     Calphin swim programs consist of on-going swim lessons following our distinctive Mastery-Based curriculum. Our featured Learn-to-Swim classes for beginners offer safer small groups with structured instructions in an indoor heated pool. For intermediate and advanced swimmers, our Stroke Refinement classes uniquely stand out with professional coaches focused on stroke techniques in a 25-yard indoor pool. We welcome swimmers ages 3 and up, from starter to advanced levels. Swimming classes are professionally organized on various ratios and durations, designed to fit students’ attention span and endurance based on their levels and ages.

 

        Our students enroll and pay for our swim programs by session. Our regular swim sessions follow the four seasons and the local school district calendar year-round, a.k.a. Pace Sessions, in which a student can sign up for one or more lessons per week at your pace. A Pace session, i.e. Spring 2024 Session, usually lasts about 10 weeks. Your enrolled swimming lessons will take place at the same time and on the same day weekly within your enrolled session. However, our summer sessions are special, offering both Pace Session and Intense Session (four days a week, three weeks per session), since kids are out of school in the summer. Our dual sessions in summer offer convenience and flexibility for families to join us around their travelling and summer plans. For a longer season, we may divide it into two sessions, i.e. Fall Session 1 and Fall Session 2.

 

        Note that it’s common to encounter a swim class with combined levels at Calphin. As far as your student level matches one of the levels of the class, they’re in good hands, as our teachers are trained to provide tailored instructions to each swimmer. Class examples with combined levels include STR/BUB1, CRL2/3, GLD1/2/3, etc.

 

Preschool Age 3-4 

 

Welcome to Preschool Swimming! Designed for ages 3-4, our fun and interactive classes help kids feel comfortable in the water while learning basic swimming skills through games and songs.

Youth Age 5-9

 

Our Youth Swimming Class for ages 5-9 focuses on building strong swimming foundations, improving strokes, and enhancing water safety through engaging activities and structured lessons.

Teens and Adults

 

Teen Classes are for Beginners of age 9-17, and Adults Swimming Classes cater to all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your technique, our tailored lessons will help you gain confidence and improve your fitness.

Private Session
