Two pools at the Dublin facility:

Designed professionally for learn-to-swim programs. Both of our small and large pools at each facility are heated all year around. The small pool is heated at 90 degrees to help students feel comfortable when learning to swim.

Our larger junior Olympic size pool is 25 yards long with 6 lanes and starting blocks. It is heated at 83 degrees.
Each facility has an on-site swim gear store for students who need swim caps and goggles. The friendly front desk staff at each facility are there to help parents and swimmers. The front desk staff will kindly help with sign in and all issues parents and swimmers may have year round.

signed professionally for learn-to-swim programs, both the small and large pools at each facility are heated all year around, 90 degrees for the small pool to help non-swimmer kids feel comfortable learning to swim.

We use ultraviolet disinfection and automated chemical and pool water testing systems.

FAQs

Q: What do you offer at Calphin Swim Academy?

A: We offer a swim lesson, training and clinic programs suitable for swimmers of all skill levels, from entry level to advanced, to learn or improve their swimming skills. Our goal is for the swimmer to not only learn how to swim for their own safety, but also be able to stay fit and swim competitively coming out of our full programs.

We have two locations for swim lessons:

Indoor Facility in Fremont: 34075 Fremont Blvd. Fremont, CA (year-round)

Indoor Facility in Dublin:  6175 Dublin Blvd, Dublin, CA  94568 (year-round)

Q: How deep are your pools at Dublin Indoor Facility?

A: Our smaller pool is 20’ x 30’ ranging from 3.5 feet to 4 feet, whereas our large 25 yards, six lane pool ranges from 4 feet to 7 feet.

Q: Are there any lifeguards on duty?

A: During our lesson hours, every swim class is assigned with one of our trained coaches or instructors. Given that and since the swimmers are grouped into classes by their skill levels and closely monitored by the coach or instructor, a life guard is not required. Nonetheless, we may add a lifeguard in the peak hours from time to time for double safety.

Q: What is the temperature of the water?

A: The small pool is 90F and our large pool is 82F

Q: How do you sanitize and maintain your pools for safe swimming?

A: Currently the facility uses a Chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) based sanitation system to keep the water in both pools extremely sanitary, beyond code requirements.  Along with a continuously flowing standard gravity filtration system, a state of the art UV filter guarantees that every type of microbe introduced to the pool system is very quickly cycled through and dispatched.
